　　近日，第44届和第45届东盟峰会在老挝万象顺利举行。2024年也是“中国—东盟人文交流年”。人文交流是中国东盟关系重要支柱，在加强中国东盟全面战略伙伴关系方面发挥重要作用，增进相互理解与互信、促进经济社会发展。

　　东盟大学联盟执行主任乔蒂斯·迪拉蒂蒂(Choltis Dhirathiti)在接受中国新闻网专访时表示，东南亚人民和中国人民生活在同一片区域，拥有某些共同的文化传承和价值观，这些有助于中国和东南亚大学在高等教育方面深化合作。他强调，中国与东盟地区不断深化文化交流，有助于维护区域和平。(巩微微)

　　The 44th and 45th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related summits were held recently in Vientiane, capital of Laos. This year marks the 2024 ASEAN-China year of people-to-people exchanges.

　　Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network Choltis Dhirathiti said in an exclusive interview with China News Network that people of Southeast Asia and China live in the same region and share certain cultural traditions and values, which help to deepen cooperation between universities in China and Southeast Asia.
